ProveFix fetches other people's websites on your behalf, so we hold every user to these rules. They protect site owners, other users and the service itself.
- 1.Check only what you may check
- 2.No attacks or overload
- 3.No getting around limits
- 4.No misuse of results or AI
- 5.Respect people's data
- 6.Keep the service safe
- 7.What happens if rules are broken
Check only what you may check
Run full scans, monitoring and change tracking only on sites you own or have permission to test. Quick public checks of a single page are fine for any public site.
No attacks or overload
Don't use the tools to overload, probe for weaknesses, break into or disrupt any site, network or service. Don't try to reach private networks or internal addresses through our fetchers.
No getting around limits
Don't get around usage limits, captchas or plan limits, for example with many accounts, automated sign ups or rotating IP addresses.
No misuse of results or AI
Don't use results or AI output to mislead, spam, harass or deceive anyone, or to copy other sites' content as your own.
Respect people's data
Don't use the tools to collect personal data from websites, such as email lists, or to build profiles of people.
Keep the service safe
Don't upload malware, try to read other workspaces' data, or reverse engineer the service. If you find a security problem, report it through the contact page and give us time to fix it.
What happens if rules are broken
We may block a request, limit a tool, or suspend an account, depending on how serious the problem is. Site owners who see unwanted fetching can report it through the contact page, and we act on reports quickly.
