On page SEO checklist: 16 checks for every page you publish
An on page SEO checklist you can run on any page in minutes: search intent, title, description, headings, copy, links, images, canonical, indexability and speed, plus the mistakes that undo the work.
An on page SEO checklist is a short list of checks you run on each page before and after you publish it, so the page matches what searchers want and sends search engines clear signals. The 16 checks below cover intent, title, description, headings, copy, links, images, canonical, indexability and speed.
Use it on new pages, on pages that slipped in rankings, and on any template a developer just changed.

Why use an on page SEO checklist?
An on page SEO checklist makes sure the basics happen every time, no matter who publishes the page. Small misses add up: a missing title on one template or a stray noindex on one section can cost more than any clever copy gains.
A checklist also splits the work cleanly. Some checks are facts a tool can test, like "does this page have a title". Others need a person, like "does this page answer the search better than what ranks now". Knowing which is which saves hours.
